Chef Max Cekot and his dedicated team have transformed the space into something extraordinary. Our vision

Max Cekot Kitchen stands apart from other restaurants in Riga, offering a dining experience like no other. Spanning three floors, each level is thoughtfully designed to create a unique journey for our guests. On the first floor, we welcome you and serve the opening dishes, setting the tone for the evening. The second floor becomes the heart of the experience, where the main dinner unfolds in an intimate setting.

Every detail of the restaurant has been carefully crafted to enhance the atmosphere and highlight its personal touch and local character. From the custom-designed interior by local artisans to the meaningful design elements—like the blue line crossing the wooden community table or the intricate lava patterns on the plates— every aspect contributes to a sense of authenticity. Our cuisine

At Max Cekot Kitchen, we redefine modern Latvian cuisine, offering an experience unlike any other. Three evenings a week, our chef and team present a carefully curated 15-course seasonal tasting menu. Guests can enhance their dining journey with a pairing of exceptional wines or handcrafted soft drinks, thoughtfully selected to complement each dish.

New dishes are introduced to the menu every three weeks, while the entire tasting set evolves every two months, ensuring each visit brings something fresh and exciting. Throughout the evening, you’ll have the chance to watch the artistry unfold in our open kitchen and hear the inspiring stories behind each dish and its locally sourced ingredients directly from the team.

Our garden

At Max Cekot Kitchen, we have our own outdoor garden where our chefs and team personally tend to the plants from early spring until late autumn. This hands-on approach ensures that only the freshest herbs, flowers and cresses make their way onto your plate.

Together with experts and farmers, we continually experiment with different growing techniques and observe how each variety thrives. Through these explorations, we learn from nature, develop new ideas for our seasonal set menu and vegetarian recipes, and bring our philosophy to life in every dish we serve.
